Self-Service: Manage Your Okta Account

What This Service Is

Your Bowdoin account settings live in Okta, where you can review and update your profile, manage your sign-in and security methods, and see the devices enrolled for multi-factor authentication. This self-service tool takes you straight to your account settings page. The button opens your settings directly — no ticket is created.

Who It's For

All Bowdoin account holders — faculty, staff, and students. You'll need to be able to sign in to reach your settings.

How to Get Started

Click the button to open your account settings at login.bowdoin.edu. From there you can:

  • View and update your profile information
  • Add, change, or remove sign-in and security methods (such as Okta Verify, a security key, or a phone)
  • Review the devices enrolled on your account
This is a self-service tool. The button opens your Okta account settings and does not create a ticket. You make changes yourself.

Not What You're Looking For?

  • If you only need to reset your password, use Reset My Password under Sign-In & Account Access — it takes you straight to the password reset flow.
  • If you can't sign in and therefore can't reach your settings, use Sign-In & Account Access, or Request Emergency Sign-In Access if you're fully locked out.
  • If you need to change your legal name, job title, or department, those go through Human Resources in Workday.
