Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin students, faculty, and staff using ArcGIS Pro for coursework or research. ArcGIS Pro is available in the Azure Virtual Desktop environment. Licensing is handled using your Bowdoin login credentials.
- Legacy accounts created directly in ArcGIS Pro may still work as an alternate sign-in method.
Resolution
Log in using Bowdoin Credentials
- Log into the Azure Virtual Desktop. For directions, see Connecting to the Azure Virtual Desktop in the Related Articles section.
- Launch ArcGIS Pro.
- Click Your ArcGIS Organizations URL.
- Enter
BowdoinCollege for the URL and check the box that says Remember This URL.

- Click Continue.
- Below the login, click the blue Bowdoin College button.

- Enter your Bowdoin username and password when prompted.
- Authenticate with Okta Verify when prompted.
Log in using Legacy ArcGIS Pro Credentials
- Log into the Azure Virtual Desktop. For directions, see Connecting to the Azure Virtual Desktop in the Related Articles section.
- Launch ArcGIS Pro.
- Enter your ArcGIS Pro username and password and click Sign In.
