How to turn off audio notifications in Outlook for MacOS

You can turn off sound notifications in Outlook for MacOS by completing the following steps.

  1. Click on Outlook in the menu bar
  2. Click on Preferences...
  3. Choose Notifications & Sounds
  4. Under the "Sounds" section, uncheck the box(es) next to each item you want to not hear a sound for.
    1. If you prefer to hear a sound, you can check a box to turn sounds on and even play around with the type of sound that is played, if desired.
  5. Close the window when complete. It will automatically save your settings
