Teams Calling: Call Delegation

Using call delegation in Teams Calling

You can pick someone in Teams to be your delegate—to receive and make calls on your behalf. When you add a delegate, you’re essentially sharing your phone line with them, so they can see and share all of your calls.

Adding a Delegate

Teams app on computer

  1. Click on the three horizontal dots next to your profile picture in the upper right corner of the screen, select Settings.
  2. With the General tab highlighted, scroll down to the Delegation section.
  3. Click on Manage delegates.
  4. By default, you will see the people that have made you a delegate. To add a delegate for yourself you need to click on Add delegate.
  5. Look up the person that you want to add as a delegate and click on their name.
  6. Determine what level of access you want your delegate to have. Make calls, Receive calls, or Change call and delegate settings.
  7. Under Calls, select Forward my Calls > My delegates to make sure your calls go to all your delegates.
