Qualtrics is excited to inform you that a new Home page and redesigned Projects page are coming on October 6.
What is the change?
We are continuing our commitment to what we call “experience-first” design, by listening to the feedback from our users and making improvements to the XM Platform. The new Home page and redesigned Projects page are part of this multi-year effort across the platform to make sure our product is easy to use, consistent, predictable, and inclusive.
The first improvement is a new, accessible, and purpose-built landing page for all users called Home. We built the Home page to give you the best starting point to your day with glanceable cards that help you take action or dive deeper. Home is designed to pull relevant system and project information from throughout Qualtrics and centralize it for you in one place. Home does not remove the Projects page and you will still have access to it in the global navigation menu.
The second improvement is a redesigned Projects page that makes it even easier to quickly find, organize, and manage your projects and programs. The Projects page is fully accessible, creates a true folder structure common in most file management systems, makes it easier to “Star” or favorite projects, makes more project metadata searchable, and creates an easy to scan table with new project icons and statuses.
You will be automatically opted-in to the new Home page and Projects page On October 6. You will also be given the option to opt-out of the Home page as the default landing page and see the previous Projects page UI for 30 days. After a month, all users will be opted-in to the new Home page and redesigned Projects page.

FAQ
How can I configure what I see on Homepage?
You can go to the upper left-hand side to “Configure homepage” to toggle different card sections on or off. What you see here is dependent on your permissions determined by your Admin.
Will there be in-product communication about this change and a way to opt out?
Yes. You will be opted in to the new Homepage and redesign Projects page by default on October 6. There will be a banner at the top allowing you to switch back to the previous Projects UI for the duration of your session. It will reset when you login next time. After November 6 you will no longer be able to opt out and the notification banner will go away.
Will existing folder organization be brought over when I switch to the new Project page?
Yes. We will preserve your current folder organization (minus the Uncategorized folder concept, which is going away) and you will not lose that when you switch over to the new UI. Projects you had in the Uncategorized folder will show up under the root folder, called Projects and Programs.
