Over the course of two weeks beginning on October 18, Ricoh will be on campus to replace 33 additional multi-function devices (printers/scanners/copiers) and some general printers. As each printer is replaced, they will be renamed and added to PaperCut. All faculty and staff who print to these printers will need to make sure that they have the PaperCut software installed and working correctly in order to be able to print successfully.
Community members will use PaperCut Print Deploy to install new printers, the PaperCut client runs to authorize and assign print jobs to people, and for those who wish to print from a mobile device, will be able to do so after installing a PaperCut mobile print configuration on their devices.
Along with printing, PaperCut also manages scanning, copying, and faxing.
