Question
- Can I restore Okta Verify on the same device that it was once installed on?
- I needed to reset my device. Can I restore Okta Verify without contacting IT?
Environment
When a mobile device is reset, all apps and data are erased, including Okta Verify.
Resolution
To restore Okta Verify on a device, you must be able to access the Okta portal using a security method other than Okta Verify. If you have set up the use of a finger print or other biometric, or setup something like Google Authenticator in addition to Okta Verify then you can restore Okta Verify. Otherwise, contact the Service Desk at (207) 725-3030 for assistance.
