Environment

This article applies to Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students who want to share an iPad screen in a Microsoft Teams meeting running on a computer. Any app installed on your iPad can be displayed in the Teams meeting, and the session can be recorded to view later.

  • You must be signed in to Teams with your Bowdoin account on both your computer and your iPad.
  • If Microsoft Teams is not on your iPad, install it for free from Apple's App Store.

Resolution

Sharing your iPad screen is an effective way to present information to students — useful for Socratic discussions, presentations, and both synchronous and asynchronous learning.
