Environment

This article applies to Bowdoin students, faculty, and staff using Outlook on the web (also called Outlook Online) with a Bowdoin account. Deleted email, calendar events, contacts, and tasks can be recovered for up to 30 days after deletion.

Resolution

  1. Go to outlook.office.com and sign in with your Bowdoin credentials.
  2. In the left-hand pane, select the Deleted Items folder. If the folders are not visible, select the triangle to the left of the account name to display them.
  3. Select Recover items deleted from this folder.
  4. In the middle column, select each item to recover. Use the search bar to help locate an item. Selected items are marked with a check to the left of the deleted item.
  5. Right-click a selected item and choose Restore.
  6. Recovered items are returned automatically to the Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, or Tasks.
