Per the College's Alternative Work Policy, employees with approved Regular Hybrid and Fully Remote work arrangements are eligible to receive a standard IT workstation setup to use in their home office that includes:
- One external monitor
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Adapter to connect the monitor, keyboard, and mouse
Upon approval of the Hybrid, Remote, and Flexible Schedule Work Agreement Form, IT will work with the employee to provide these resources if they are not currently assigned. It is expected that the equipment the employee has already been assigned to be used at home before new equipment will be purchased.
Please note: Multiple sets of equipment will not be assigned. Monitor, mouse, keyboard and adapter for those approved to work hybrid would be set up at home with no expectation of using an external monitor, mouse or keyboard while on campus. However, some hot desk options may have a configuration that can be used when reserving the space.
It is also expected that employees use the equipment that has been assigned to them through the College for all Bowdoin work.
