The College provides a single set of technology for eligible faculty and staff which includes:
- One computer
- One external monitor, if not using an All-in-one desktop computer (as defined as a monitor that is not the laptop's own screen)
- One Keyboard
- One Mouse
- One Adapter to connect the monitor, keyboard, and mouse
Upon approval of the Hybrid, Remote, and Flexible Schedule Work Agreement Form completed through HR, it is expected that the employee use their provided equipment at their primary place of work which has been determined to be either their Bowdoin office, or at an off-campus location.
Please complete the request form to let IT know what equipment will be leaving campus.
Note: Multiple sets of equipment will
not be assigned.
Monitor, mouse, keyboard and adapter for those approved to work hybrid would be set up at home with no expectation of using an external monitor, mouse or keyboard while on campus.
It is also expected that employees use the equipment that has been assigned to them through the College for all Bowdoin work in accordance with the College's
Computer Use Policy, and not use personal computers for Bowdoin work.
