Updating your OneCard information for PaperCut

  • I had to replace my OneCard ID, how can I update PaperCut so I can print?
  • I tapped my ID at a printer but am told that my card is now known. What should I do?

PaperCut will remember the information from a single card for every person on campus. If you have your OneCard ID replaced for any reason, whether it be because it was lost or is damaged, your card information will need to be tied in to your PaperCut account.

These instructions will walk you through updating your information for use with PaperCut.

  • On the multi-function device (MFD), after you've tapped your card, you will receive a message that "Your card is not known to the system".

Screen showing the dialog message that the card is not known to the system. The Next and Cancel buttons are shown.
  • Tap the Next button.
  • Tap on each field for "Username" and "Password". For each you will be brought to the on-screen keyboard. Be careful to type your information in correctly.

  • Once you have entered your information, tap Associate.
