Recording your name with NameCaoch

Description

NameCoach is a tool that allows name pronunciations (know as a NameBadge) to be recorded online and subsequently viewed in Canvas courses and the Bowdoin directory pages. Faculty, staff and students can record their names within their Canvas user account settings. These recordings will then populate the Bowdoin directory pages and any Canvas courses that they are enrolled in.

Recording your name for NameCoach

1. Login to canvas.bowdoin.edu with your Bowdoin user name and password.
2. Click on your account picture in the top left of your Canvas page.
3. From the list of options that appears, choose NameCoach.
4. Click on 'Record Name'.
5. Use one of the three options to record your name (Phone, Web Recorder of Uploader)
6. Click 'Submit and Finish'
