Description
NameCoach is a tool that allows name pronunciations (know as a NameBadge) to be recorded online and subsequently added to Outlook email signatures. Faculty, staff and students can record their names and make them available in their email signatures via Outlook Online, Outlook for Mac or Outlook for Windows. Once a name pronunciation has been recorded it can be edited at any time from https://namecoach.bowdoin.edu.
Along with your voice recording you may also enter a textual phonetic pronunciation guide for your name.
A user's NameBadge may not transfer its recording to some event NamePages such as Commencement. These NamePages are kept separate in case a different name pronunciation is required.
Details regarding recording your name for Canvas can be found here.
