Resolution

  1. Check Ethernet Cable: Ensure that the phone is properly powered and all necessary cables are securely connected. Power is provided by the Ethernet cable, which is the same cable that plugs into the wall.
  2. Restart the Phone: Simply restarting the phone can resolve many basic issues. Unplug the phone from the network, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Be sure to plug the cable back into the same port on the back of the phone, if you unplugged the cable from there an not the wall.
  3. Check Audio Settings: If there are problems with hearing or being heard, check the phone's volume settings. Adjust the speaker and microphone settings in the phone’s audio options.
  4. Sign out and back in: Teams phones receive their information based on your log in. Sometimes logging out and back in can resolve the issue. View the article on signing out and in, if you need assistance.
  5. Contact Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, submit a request and someone will reach out to assist..
