Environment
Bowdoin College has four wireless networks:
- BOWDOIN and eduroam – For Bowdoin students, faculty, staff, and Emeriti. eduroam also supports guests from other institutions.
- BOWDOIN-GUEST – For non-Bowdoin visitors. Requires name and email. Limited access.
- BOWDOIN-PSK – For devices without WPA2 Enterprise support. Registration and special password required.

Resolution
Follow these steps to connect your Apple macOS device to the BOWDOIN or eduroam network.
TIP: For eduroam, enter your full Bowdoin email (e.g., jdoe@bowdoin.edu). For BOWDOIN, use your username only (e.g., jdoe).
- Click the Wi-Fi icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Select BOWDOIN or eduroam from the list of networks.
- Enter your Bowdoin username and password.
- Click Join.
- When prompted, click Continue to accept the security certificate.
