Environment
This article applies to all Bowdoin College faculty, staff, and students who need short-term access to a technology device or accessory. The IT Loaning Center supports academic needs and other college programs.

Resolution
Equipment available to borrow
The IT Loaning Center maintains a pool of technology available for short-term loan, including:
- Windows laptops
- Apple laptops
- iPads
- Data projectors
- External hard drives
- Powered speakers
Loan duration
The equipment pool is designed for short-term use and is generally limited to 1 week. If a department needs a device for an extended period, contact the Service Desk to make other arrangements.
Equipment is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Please submit your request as far in advance as possible to ensure availability.
How to request equipment
- Complete the IT Loaning Center equipment request form.
- An IT staff member will follow up about availability and arrange pickup.
Pickup location and hours
Equipment is picked up at the IT main offices at 16 Station Avenue, Maine Street Station (above Pomelo and the Amtrak train station).
