Junk Mail Folder

What is my Junk folder and what does it do?

The Junk folder is a folder that is automatically created inside your mailbox. When messages are sent to you that are determined to be bulk email messages, spam in nature but not malicious enough to be sent to quarantine, or from senders that you have flagged as junk senders, they will be delivered automatically to your Junk mail folder.

Messages that are sent to the Junk folder are kept for 7 days, after which, they are automatically deleted.

You can manage your junk senders list from Outlook on Windows or from Outlook.com. Unfortunately, you can not modify your junk senders from Outlook on MacOS or from Apple's Mail application.
