Bowdoin faculty and staff are protected by CrowdStrike (automatic scanning with quarantine/remove prompts), while students use Microsoft Defender (Quick or Full scans) and macOS’s built-in protections. If you suspect infection, save your work, stay online for updates, follow remediation prompts, keep your OS and apps updated via Jamf Pro Self Service or Intune Company Portal, and restart and rescan if issues persist.
