Guest Wireless

What This Service Is

Guest Wireless is Bowdoin's BOWDOIN-GUEST network for campus visitors. Visitors don't need an account or a request to get online — when a guest connects to BOWDOIN-GUEST, a portal page opens automatically to complete a short, self-service connection that provides 24-hour access. This service is where a guest can report a problem if the guest network isn't working.

Who It's For

Campus visitors and guests using the BOWDOIN-GUEST network. You do not need a Bowdoin login to report a problem here.

Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students: use the secure BOWDOIN or eduroam networks instead — see Campus Wi-Fi in the Internet & Networking category.

How to Get Started / Get Help

To get online as a guest, connect your device to BOWDOIN-GUEST and follow the portal page that appears. If the guest network isn't working for you, press the button below to report the problem.

Not What You're Looking For?

  • Are you a current Bowdoin community member? Use the BOWDOIN or eduroam networks — see Campus Wi-Fi in the Internet & Networking category.
  • Want to know what the guest network can and can't reach? See BOWDOIN-GUEST Network Limitations in the Related Articles section.

Service Promise

Guest network reports are reviewed during Service Desk hours. Because guest access is intended for short visits, we work to address connection problems as quickly as possible. For urgent help while on campus, contact the Service Desk at (207) 725-3030.

Provided By
