What This Service Is
This service handles two things: requesting a pickup of Bowdoin-issued electronics you no longer need — so they can be disposed of, recycled, or re-issued elsewhere on campus — and notifying IT when Bowdoin equipment is leaving campus to be used for work from home.
Moving offices? To have your computer or a printer disconnected and reconnected for an office move, use the Office Moves & Equipment Setup service in the Related Services section instead.

How to Get Started / Get Help
- Have Bowdoin electronics to dispose of, recycle, or hand back for re-issue? Use Request hardware pickup.
- Taking a monitor, desktop, or other non-portable Bowdoin equipment home for work-from-home use? Use Equipment leaving campus notification before it leaves.
Not What You're Looking For?
- Need equipment disconnected and reconnected for an office move, desk replacement, or workspace change? Use Office Moves & Equipment Setup.
- Need the physical equipment actually moved or transported? That's handled by Facilities Management.
Service Promise / SLA
