What This Service Is
The OneCard is Bowdoin's official campus ID card. It serves as your photo ID, building and door access credential, dining card, library card, and more. The OneCard office manages card issuance, physical access permissions, key distribution, and vendor and department card issues across campus.
Who It's For
All current Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students may use this service. Requests to add or remove building or door access on behalf of others must be submitted by a supervisor, department head, or authorized department coordinator. Students who need access for coursework or employment should have their faculty member or supervisor submit the request on their behalf.
How to Get Started
Select the offering that best matches your request:
- Need to grant building or door access, or issue physical keys to someone? Use Request Card Access or Keys.
- Need to end previously authorized card access for a departing employee, student, or contractor? Use Remove Card Access.
- Have another OneCard question — such as a lost, damaged, or stolen card, or a vendor or department card issue? Use Submit a General OneCard Request.
Not What You're Looking For?
- PaperCut printing balance or account: Managed through PaperCut directly — not through the OneCard office. See Updating your OneCard for PaperCut in the Related Articles section.
- Bowdoin account, password, or MFA issues: See Faculty, Staff, and Student Accounts in the Service Catalog.
