Report a Zoom problem

Overview

Use this request to report a problem with Zoom — such as audio, video, screen sharing, recording, sign-in, or unexpected meeting behavior — that you can't resolve with the troubleshooting articles.

When to Use This

  • Your audio or video isn't working in Zoom and the troubleshooting steps didn't help.
  • You can't sign in to Zoom with your Bowdoin account.
  • Screen sharing, recording, or another feature is failing or behaving unexpectedly.
  • A recording didn't process or you can't find it.
  • Something else about Zoom is broken and you need IT to look into it.

When NOT to Use This

  • You want to try fixing it yourself first — see Troubleshoot Zoom Audio and Video Issues and the other Zoom articles in the Related Articles section.
  • You need a license (longer meetings, larger meetings, or a webinar) — use the matching Request a Zoom … license option.
  • Your meeting was disrupted by an uninvited participant — see Respond to Zoombombing in a Zoom Meeting for immediate steps.
  • You need help setting up Zoom in a classroom or event space — use the classroom consult under Classrooms, Conference Rooms, & Meeting Spaces.

Before You Submit

  • A description of what's happening and when it started.
  • The meeting ID or link, if the problem is tied to a specific meeting.
  • A screenshot of any error message, if possible.
