When to Use This
Use this offering when:
- You are teaching a course and want your enrolled students to use Claude as part of the class.
- You want a whole-class setup provisioned for a specific term rather than individual student requests.
- You need to include a teaching assistant or co-instructor in the class setup.

When NOT to Use This
Do not use this offering if:

- You want advice before deciding how to use Claude in your course. Use Request a Claude Consultation in the Related Services section.
Before You Submit
Have this information ready:
- The course number and name, and the term.
- The expected number of students.
- Which Claude tools the class will use (chat, Claude Code, or Cowork).
- Any teaching assistant or co-instructor to include.
- The funding source for usage costs, and the account or index code if applicable.
What Happens Next
Faculty whole-class requests are approved automatically and routed for provisioning. Setup is typically completed within 2 business days, and you may be contacted to confirm the roster or term details. You will receive a confirmation when the class is ready to use Claude.
