Report a Claude Problem

Summary

Use this request to report a problem with Claude, such as being unable to sign in, an error or bug, or access that is not working.

When to Use This

Use this offering when:

  • You cannot sign in to Claude with your Bowdoin account.
  • You get an "access denied" message or your access does not seem to be set up.
  • Claude returns an error, or a tool such as Claude Code or Cowork is not working.
  • Claude is unusually slow or unavailable.
  • You see an unexpected billing or usage-limit message.

When NOT to Use This

Do not use this offering if:

  • You have not requested access yet. Use Request Claude Access in the Related Services section.
  • You want to raise a usage limit or change funding on purpose. Use Change Claude Funding or Usage Limits in the Related Services section.
  • Your problem is with LibreChat rather than the Claude apps. See LibreChat in the Related Services section.

Before You Submit

Have this information ready:

  • Which tool is affected: Claude chat, Claude Code, Cowork, Fable, or sign-in.
  • What is happening, and any exact error message (a screenshot helps and can be attached).
  • When the problem started.

What Happens Next

Problem reports are prioritized. A technician will review your report and most issues are addressed within 1 business day. You may be contacted for more detail or a screenshot. If the problem is a wider outage, your report is linked to the ongoing work and you are updated when it is resolved.
