Environment

Bowdoin-issued Macs are enrolled into the Jamf Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution used to manage and maintain all Bowdoin Apple devices. The profile is installed automatically, and to complete enrollment you need to approve the MDM profile. This applies to Bowdoin-issued Macs running macOS Sequoia (15.x) or Tahoe (26.x).

Resolution

To complete enrollment of your Mac, approve the MDM profile:

  1. Click the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.
  2. Choose System Settings.
  3. Select General, then Device Management.
  4. Select the MDM Profile.
  5. Click Approve under the message "Functionality may be limited until this profile is approved."
  6. Click Approve again when the confirmation window appears.

MDM Profile screen with a warning about limited functionality and the Approve button highlighted.

Enrollment is now complete. You can close System Settings and continue using your computer.
