Environment
This article applies to all Bowdoin College faculty, staff, and students who have received an email from StatusHub confirming a subscription. StatusHub is Information Technology's service alert system, used to notify the campus community about outages, scheduled maintenance, and other important IT updates. All community members are automatically subscribed when their Bowdoin account is set up.
Resolution
When you are subscribed to StatusHub — whether automatically by IT or by subscribing yourself — a confirmation email is automatically sent to verify your subscription.
Legitimate StatusHub subscription confirmation emails are sent from do-not-reply@statushub.io and will include specific details confirming your subscription to Bowdoin IT alerts.

No immediate action is required if you want to continue receiving StatusHub alerts. If you do not want to receive notifications, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions in the email or by visiting https://statushub.bowdoin.edu. See How to unsubscribe from StatusHub alerts in the Related Articles section.
