Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students with a Bowdoin-issued Mac laptop, installing Zoom through the Jamf Self Service application.
Resolution
- Open the Jamf Self Service application on your macOS device. You can find it in the Applications folder or by using the Finder.
- Once Jamf Self Service is open, use the search bar to type in Zoom. This will help you quickly locate the Zoom application within the catalog.
- Locate the Zoom application in the list of available software. Click the Install button next to the Zoom application listing.
- Wait for the installation process to complete. You may see a progress bar or a notification indicating that the installation is underway.
- After the installation is finished, find Zoom in your Applications folder. Launch Zoom to begin using it for your meetings.
- If you encounter any issues during the installation, ensure that your device is connected to the Internet and has the latest system updates, then try again.
