You can turn off sound notifications in Outlook for MacOS by completing the following steps.
Click on
Outlook
in the menu bar
Click on
Preferences...
Choose
Notifications & Sounds
Under the "Sounds" section, uncheck the box(es) next to each item you want to not hear a sound for.
If you prefer to hear a sound, you can check a box to turn sounds on and even play around with the type of sound that is played, if desired.
Close the window when complete. It will automatically save your settings
