Teams Status Settings

Your availability in Teams can be set manually as explained above or it can change automatically if Teams detects that you are in a call or if your calendar shows that you have a meeting during that time.

If you are in a Teams call your availability will be switched to Busy.

If you have a calendar appointment with another person, your status in Teams will automatically be changed to Busy during the time when that appointment is taking place. Please note that your status will only change during the meeting if another person has been invited and they have accepted the invitation.
