Managing the Dept Voice Mail Greeting in the Teams Desktop App

  1. Click on the elipsis (three horizontal dots) in the upper right corner of the Teams app beside your account icon.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click on the Calls tab from the column on the left.
  4. Along the top of the window you'll see the call queues available for your account.
  5. Click on the group you wish to manage.
  6. Click on the drop down menu beneath Set up a greeting for this call queue when a customer calls in.
  7. Select the option you want to use.
    • Add a greeting message - The text you type into the Greeting message box will be played to any callers who get the dept. voice mail.
    • No greeting - There will be no greeting played.
    • Play an audio file - Allows you to upload a MP3, WAV or WMA file to be played for the caller. The audio files must be less than 5MB.
  8. Once you are finished, click Save.
