Searles 128 is a classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a classroom environment, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology use into their coursework. The room is designed to help professors and students give elaborate audio and video presentations.

- Mac Mini providing macOS and a virtual Windows operating system.
- 21.5" Crestron Touch Panel/Instructor Monitor.

- Note: HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad hook-up available at instructor's station.
- Logitech 1080p Webcam w/built-in microphone.

- Panasonic PT-FRZ50W laser data projector.
- Ceiling Mounted, native resolution of 1920 x 1200 (1080P).
- Crestron Interactive Touch Panel Controls.
- Apple TV for wireless presenting.
- Region Free Blu-ray/DVD/CD/MP3 Player.
- Note: Located in AV equipment cabinet on the far end of the room.
- Room Audio.
- Digital Document Camera - desktop.
- PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) web camera (wall mounted opposite the instructor station).
- Vocal reinforcement Instructor: Yes - Shure Lavaliere microphone/body pack to room audio with rechargeable dock.
- Vocal reinforcement Audience: Yes - Hanging ceiling microphones dispersed throughout the room.
- NOTE: The PTZ web cameras, lavaliere and hanging microphones are the primary Zoom/MS Teams devices!

- There are wall-mounted whiteboards along the side of the room.
- Windows covered with shutters to block out light.
- Room laid out in such a way to enhance small group work and encourage collaboration.
