How to recover deleted emails in Outlook Online

You can recover deleted emails, calendar events, contacts or tasks in Outlook.com up to 30 days old.


Instructions:

  1. Navigate to https://outlook.office.com and log in with your Bowdoin credentials.
  2. In the left-hand pane, right click on the Deleted Items folder.
  3. You might have to click the triangle to the left of your username to display the folders.
  4. Click Recover deleted items... located at the bottom of the drop down menu.

  5. In the middle column, click each item that you want to recover.

    Use the search bar to help find the item(s). Items to be recovered are marked with a check to the left of the deleted item.
     
  6. Click Recover in the right pane of the window.
  7. Recovered item(s) are automatically returned to the Inbox, Calendar, Contact or Tasks.
