CMS Access and Training

Information

The CMS (Content Management System) is what we refer to when we talk about editing and publishing to Bowdoin's website. CMS is the tool used to add, update or remove content from pages or areas that you have access to. If you are being charged with maintaining information for your department, for faculty members or for your own pages, you will need to attend a training session before being provided access.

Click the button CMS Training to go to the CMS training page listing the schedules for training along with the ability to register for a session.

Available To

Access is available to the following:

  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Students*

* Access for students is intended for changes that are being made on a department's behalf based on student employment status. Student website editors must be sponsored by a faculty/staff member.
