Introduction
Bowdoin IT works with a large number of application authors and licensors in order to provide the largest number of software options available to you. We provide software for everything from office productivity to statistics to research and everything in between. If there is an application that you need to use in order to do your job or one that you may simply want to learn, click the Request Software button on the right.
Options Available
There are a large number of application titles available however licensing and other requirements do vary from application to application. Most can only be installed on computers owned by the College.

Available To
Faculty and staff can request software to be installed on any Bowdoin-issued computer. If the request is for a classroom or computer lab, we do ask that you use the request form here.
Service Promise
We will work to install the requested application within 3 business days assuming that we own licensing for the software. If we do not, there may be more work involved and we will work with you on those details.
