Introduction

As part of the Digital Excellence Commitment, several applications that used to be only available in computer labs are now available to be installed on the student-issued laptops. 

There are times that the software provided will not install correctly or may give an error when running or opening. In addition, macOS (the operating system that is installed on all MacBook Pros), may have issues or errors. 

In any of these cases, students can request assistance. The devices and software provided through DExC are supported by the College.

Eligibility

Students can request help with errors or issues installing software provided by the College as well as with macOS itself, that are installed on laptops provided through the Digital Excellence Commitment.

While support staff will provide help with errors or issues in the software, we may not be able to assist directly with how to use some software. Students may be referred to other resources for that type of assistance.

Service Promise

Offerings may have their own service promise, however most requests will be responded to within 2-3 business days with a resolution in 3-5 business days.
