Environment

This article applies to Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students who have hosted a Zoom cloud recording. Bowdoin Zoom recordings are automatically transferred to Panopto after processing — in most cases, access your recordings there. This article covers downloading recordings that are still in Zoom cloud storage before transfer is complete, or in the rare case that a recording did not transfer automatically.

Resolution

Check Panopto first. If your recording has already transferred, it will not appear in Zoom. Log in to Panopto to find and download recordings that have already been processed and moved.
  1. Go to bowdoin.zoom.us and sign in with your Bowdoin credentials.
  2. In the left navigation, click Recordings [1].
  3. At the top of the page, confirm you are on the Cloud Recordings tab [2].
  4. Find the recording you want to download in the list.
  5. Click the More button [3] to the far right of the recording.
  6. Select Download from the menu. The file downloads to your computer's Downloads folder.

Want to store the recording long-term? After downloading, upload the file to your Bowdoin OneDrive for longer-term storage. See Upload Zoom Recordings to OneDrive in the Related Articles section.
