Environment

Bowdoin College offers four wireless networks:

  • BOWDOIN and eduroam – Main networks for students, faculty, staff, and Emeriti. Visitors from other institutions can use eduroam.
  • BOWDOIN-GUEST – For visitors without Bowdoin credentials. Requires name and email to connect. Limited access.
  • BOWDOIN-PSK – For devices without WPA2 Enterprise support. Requires registration and special password.

Resolution

Use the steps below to connect your Windows 11 laptop to the BOWDOIN or eduroam network.

  1. Ensure that Windows is managing your wireless connections.
  2. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray near the clock.
  3. Select BOWDOIN or eduroam from the list.
  4. Enter your Bowdoin username and password.
  5. Accept the certificate if prompted.
