Resolution

Guest printing at the Hawthorne-Longfellow Library

Guest printing is available at the Hawthorne-Longfellow (H&L) Library. The process for guests is different from the standard PaperCut workflow used by Bowdoin community members. Ask a library staff member at the H&L Library service desk for assistance — they will walk you through the guest printing process.

Note: Library staff manage guest printing directly. There is no self-service guest printing setup — you must speak with library staff to get started.

Guest printing elsewhere on campus

Guest printing access outside of the H&L Library is not self-service. If a visitor needs to print in another location on campus — for example, for a conference or event — the sponsoring Bowdoin department or faculty member should contact the Service Desk in advance to arrange temporary guest access.

Hosting a conference or event? Contact the Event's Office at (207) 725-3433 before the event to discuss printing options for guests. Lead time is recommended.
