Druckenmiller 16 is equipped with audio/visual equipment that allows professors and students to give elaborate presentations in many different formats. The room is equipped with electronic sun blackout shades, has a 120" (diagonal) screen, and a 20" wide screen monitor.

Technology

Instructor Station, Podium or Presentation Area:

Presentation Computer: Mac Mini providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system.

Monitor: 20" Instructor Monitor.

Podium or table: This room does not have a traditional podium. The instructor area is on one end of a long lab counter.

  • Note: HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad hook-up available at instructor's station.

Webcam: 1080p Webcam w/built-in microphone.

  • NOTE:  Primary Zoom/MS Teams device!

 

Installed Room Audio-Visual (AV) Technologies:

Projector or Display: Traditional Projector.

  • Ceiling Mounted, native resolution of 1200x800.

Projection Screen: Electronically lowered and raised via AV controls

AV System Controls: Extron Push-button system (located underneath instructor area).

Blu-Ray System: Region Free Blu-ray player that also plays DVDs and CDs.

  • Note: Located in the AV SmartBox pull-down tray next to instructor's station.

Audio: Room Audio with wall-mounted front speakers.

Vocal Reinforcement:

  • Instructor:  Yes - Bluetooth lavalier to room audio.
  • Audience:  No.

Document Camera: Table top document camera.

Room Camera: There is no AV-integrated room camera.

Wireless Presentation: There is no wireless presentation available in this room.

Slide Projector: 2 Kodak Slide Projectors (Located in projection booth at the rear of the room).

Writing Surface: Wall-mounted chalkboard.
