Kanbar Hall, Room 101

Kanbar 101 is a seminar-style classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a seminar-style environment, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology use into their coursework. The room is designed to help professors and students give elaborate audio and video presentations.

Instructor/Podium Station:

  • iMac providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system.
  • AirTouch sit/stand instructor desk (Push the lever to gently raise or lower the desk to suit your needs).
    • Note: HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad hook-up available at instructor's station.
  • Logitech 1080p Webcam w/built-in microphone.
    • NOTE:  Primary Zoom/MS Teams device!

A/V Technologies:

  • (1) Panasonic PT-RZ570W Laser Data Projector (Primary).
    • Ceiling Mounted, native resolution is 1920 X 1200.
  • (1) NEC NP-PA550W Projector (Secondary).
    •  Ceiling Mounted, native resolution of 1280 x 800.
  • Extron Push-button System Controller.​​​​​​
  • Region Free Blu-ray/DVD/CD/MP3 Player.
    • Note: Player is located in the AV rack, which is in the cabinet underneath the rooms controls.
  • Room Audio.

  • Vocal reinforcement Audience:  Yes - CatchBox Microphone
