The Screening/Seminar Room in the Media Commons is outfitted and designed for viewing of digital movies and films as well configured for regular classes.

Location: Media Commons, Basement of Hawthorne-Longfellow Library.
Hours: Open during Library hours.
Room Type: Classroom.
Seating Capacity: 1 instructor and 18 students.

- Mac Mini providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system.
- HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad Hook-up available at instructor's station.
- 17" Instructor Monitor.
- Logitech 1080p Webcam w/built-in microphone.
- NOTE: Primary Zoom/MS Teams device!

A/V Technologies:
- 85" wall mounted LED LCD TV.
- Capable of resolutions up to and including 4K.
- Extron Push-button System Controller (Located on the AV SmartBox next to instructor's station).
- Region Free Blu-ray/DVD/CD Player.
- Note: Located in the AV SmartBox pull-down tray next to instructor's station.
- 7.1 integrated surround sound: 2 front wall-mounted speakers, 1 center channel speaker, 4 in-wall surround speakers and 1 sub-woofer.
- Note: Amps/Denon for the surround sound are located in the closet behind instructor's station, which is commonly locked.
- Digital Document Camera.
- Peerless AV cart with smaller television also available with analog connections for VHS and LaserDisc players.

- The only window is on the entrance door.
