VAC304 is a classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a traditional setting, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology into their instruction. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate multimedia presentations. It is also designed to allow students to work in small to mid-size groups moving the furniture around freely.

  • Mac Mini providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system.
  • HDMI and Ethernet Laptop/iPad connections available at the Instructor's Station.
  • 24" Instructor Monitor.
  • Logitech 1080p Webcam w/built-in microphone.
    • NOTE:  Primary Zoom/MS Teams device!
  • A list of software for either operating system can be found here.

A/V Technologies:

  • Panasonic PT-FRZ50W laser data projector.
    • Ceiling Mounted, native resolution of 1920 x 1200.
  • Extron Push-button System Controller (Located on the wall behind the instructor's station).
  • Region Free Blu-ray/DVD/CD/MP3 Player.
    • Note: Located on a shelf in an in-wall cabinet behind the instructor's station.
  • Room Audio.
  • Digital Document Camera.
  • Crestron AirMedia (Wireless presentation solution).
  • Vocal reinforcement Instructor:  No.
  • Vocal reinforcement Audience:  No.

  • 5 wall-mounted whiteboards.
