Environment
This article applies to any Bowdoin faculty, staff, or student who has previously authorized PaperCut to scan to their OneDrive account and wants to remove that permission. Revoking access is also a useful troubleshooting step if scan-to-OneDrive is not working — removing and re-authorizing the connection often resolves delivery issues.
Resolution
- Go to myapps.microsoft.com in a web browser and sign in with your Bowdoin username and password if prompted.
- You will see a list of apps connected to your Bowdoin Microsoft 365 account. Find Scans for PaperCut MF in the list.
- Click the three dots in the top right corner of the Scans for PaperCut MF tile and select Remove.
Multiple PaperCut entries? If your department has also configured PaperCut to scan to a Teams or SharePoint folder, you may see additional PaperCut entries in the list. Only remove Scans for PaperCut MF — do not remove the others unless you also want to revoke those connections.
Re-authorizing after removal: If you removed access to troubleshoot a scan-to-OneDrive issue, you can re-authorize PaperCut the next time you scan to OneDrive. PaperCut will send you an authorization email — follow the steps in How to scan to OneDrive from a PaperCut device in the Related Articles section to complete the reconnection.
