Bowdoin College faculty, staff, and students should connect to the eduroam or BOWDOIN Wi-Fi networks for secure wireless access throughout campus using their Bowdoin credentials. Eduroam is recommended as it also provides access at participating institutions worldwide, while both networks support use on computers and mobile devices.

To scan a document in color at Bowdoin College, users must log in to a supported campus multi-function printer using their credentials, select the scan function, choose a destination such as their email, and manually set the color mode to "Color" in the scan settings. All actions are performed through the printer's touchscreen interface, and the process is compatible with Bowdoin’s PaperCut print management system.

While students can bring their own printers, it is discouraged due to a variety of limitations.
