When Information Technology is working on new projects, they often provide pilot software, applications or programs in order to test how the software or services might perform. From time to time IT may request that people work with them in order to do some real-world testing. This form will act as your request to have an opportunity to work on a specific pilot program with IT.

Unfortunately, email is also a very technical concept and has a lot of moving parts that can cause it to fail. This service request form gives you the opportunity to let us know that you're experiencing an issue with your email so we can quickly direct the request to the right person or group to help resolve the issue quickly.

Duo 2-step or 2-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security for accessing some Bowdoin services, such as Workday and Office 365, by requiring authorization from the phone, a mobile device or custom hardware device before allowing you to access the service.

If you have been assigned a 2-Step USB token but it has been lost, stolen or damaged, use this service to request a new one be assigned and configured for you.





There are hundreds of network locations in which are stored millions of files that are used by a variety of faculty, staff and students across campus. Use this form to request access to those files as required by your position, job or class.

Staff members can request access to certain areas of Polaris as it pertains to their duties. You can read more about this service and request access here.

Students and Faculty do NOT need to request access. They should have access to Polaris automatically.

Faculty and staff are provided a single computer with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, as their primary workstation with. Additional hardware peripherals may be requested and, in most cases, will be the financial responsibility of the employee's department. These peripherals include a second monitor, external hard drives, monitor arms or monitor stands, etc. You can use this Service Request to ask for those additional items.

Faculty and staff wishing to make a personal purchase using the mployee loan program may request a consultation on the hardware to be purchased.



Request training on Bowdoin's classroom AV technology. Training can include any of the basic features available in most of Bowdoin's classrooms except for the Tecnology Enhanced Spaces.

VPN
VPN access may be available to faculty, staff, students and some research assistants. If you would like to request access, use the form attached to this service.


The College's current license agreements provide for faculty and staff to download and install all Adobe products on Bowdoin-issued computers as well as personal computers. You can request access to the licenses through this form.

IMAP and POP are older, less secure protocols used to retrieve email. In some cases, software is written to only support one or both. If there is a business need to enable either IMAP or POP for an email account, you may request access.
