Bowdoin College provides a state of the art wireless network available from in every building and in most outdoor spaces. Access is available for every current faculty, staff and student by authenticating with your Bowdoin username and password on any device. If you are experiencing an issue connecting to wireless or are having other wireless issues, let us know.

GraphPad Prism is no longer available for campus-wide use. A small number of licenses are available. You can make a request for a license key using this request form.

Help! I have an IT-related issue and I'd like some help, please.



IT trainers can work with you to create customized classes for an entire department or can schedule time to meet for one-on-one training.

Accounts will remain active for a 90-day period unless otherwise specified in which case the maximum duration is one year. Collaborator account extensions can be requested through this account extension request form by the collaborating Faculty member.

The following is just an example of what you can request assistance with:

Request a new IP Phone to be installed in a room
Request that an extension be added to a phone
Request an extension to be removed from a phone

Game consoles including the Sony PS3, PS4, Microsoft Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo's Wii U and Switch, most media streaming devices such as a Roku Streaming Stick+, the Apple TV and the Amazon Fire Stick and smart speakers such as the Amazon Echo need to be registered in order to be able to access the wireless network.

Request service for issues relating to any classroom and/or AV technology in a classroom. This can include the computer, projectors, audio issues, bluray players, etc.






Request features that you would like to see IT implement. You could request everything from a feature in an operating system to a feature in a classroom.

Please Note:
A minimum of a 2-week lead-time is required for all events and assistance is only available on a first-come, first-serve basis with classes taking priority.
- For IP conference phones, please submit a workorder via the IT Service Desk
- Furniture and lecterns can be requested through Campus Scheduling
- AV Services does not supply equipment for bands

Box is used by some departments in order to work with student employees on departmental materials. You can request access for additional professional staff or request to remove access for professional staff. Student employee access is automatic from HR and access should not be requested through this process.

There are hundreds of network locations in which are stored millions of files that are used by a variety of faculty, staff and students across campus. Use this form to request access to those files as required by your position, job or class.
